It's bagpipe o'clock!

ÙINE is Gaelic for TIME.

Time is something we all need more of. We spend many minutes, hours, days and years squandering what little time we have. This album took time, but for good reason... thank you for taking the time to listen to this album!!

These tunes and songs were composed and created mostly during the global pandemic, a time where I found myself home, during curfew, bored of TV, video games and all of the other time wasters we engage in every day to pass the time.

I am composing new bagpipe tunes often enough, and the pandemic was my chance to expand my repertoire of original tunes, as it were. There are seven bagpipe tunes, some of which date as far back as 2010. Most though have been composed over the last 2-3 years. I get inspired to write a tune and once the first part gets into my head, I am off to the races.

The three songs are mostly social commentaries, accompanied by bagpipes, as I am wont to do.


I dedicate this album to the memory of my piping teacher, Paul Gardner.
